A few years ago the roof of my building took fire. Thankfully, I was living on the first floor, but I only had 1min to put some wet sheets ender my doors, grab my two passports, a picture of my mother and leave.
While the fire brigade was operating, all the neighbours gathered in the closest city hall to share wine until we could come back in ours homes. It was the first time I really met the people who were living upstairs and, at this time I didn’t care about my stuffs inside.
Most of my neighbours only took their ID, pets and instruments. The essential, like we say.
